    Thordoncn's water lubricated bearings and shaft seal components provide a fully integrated solution for conversion and new projects. This design scheme relocates the CN-SXL radial segmented shaft seal above the guide bearing, allowing for installation and disassembly without disassembling the main structural components, thereby reducing the downtime related to bearing inspection from days to hours.

    Thordon bearings can be designated as an upgrade of rubber or other non-metallic bearings in existing water lubricated bearing systems, or as a complete transition from sealed oil or grease lubrication systems to pollution-free water lubrication.
    Although Thordoncn bearings are essentially elastomers, especially SXL bearings are harder than rubber and can withstand higher loads. However, it still maintains a high degree of elasticity, and a rubber like running clearance is possible.
